MRICS, MHKIS & MAPM

Director

Miss Jaime Ng is the third daughter of our founder. She grew up watching how marine upholstery could be transformed from ordinary to stunning under her father’s trained hands. She spent her childhood stitching and sewing boat covers with her sister and two brothers and helped with prop making for fabric craftworks. For the past thirty years, Jaime has always been passionate about upholstering, and she spends most of her spare time creating beautiful bespoke fabric upholstery products for Sing Kee’s customers.

In 1983, Jaime completed her studies in Quantity Surveying and became a professional in project/contract management, procurement management and quantity surveying. She has since served in both the private and public sectors. She holds professional memberships of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS) and the Association of Project Management (MAPM). She completed a PGD in International Commercial Law from the Northumbria University, UK and a PGD in Construction Project Management from the Greenwich University, UK.

After a career in Project/Contract Management & Procurement. Jaime returned to the family trade, offering invaluable experience to all parts of the business. She is currently responsible for the marketing, finances and design, as well as the ecommerce website, which was first launched in 2021 and has now become an important part of Sing Kee business.

In 2019, Jaime decided it was time to reposition Sing Kee for the challenges of retail in the 21st Century. Alongside our mother company, Sing Kee, and with a long-standing love for fabric upholstery and years of experience working with fabric products, she created our new brand – “Sailing Culture 揚帆經典”.

“Our values are still very much the same today as they were in the 1950s – Quality, Value & Service,” as Jaime one stated and continues to firmly believe.
