Q: What are your opening hours?

We are open 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

10am to 12.30pm on Saturday.

Sunday and public holidays closed.

Q: Do you offer a made-to-measure service?

Yes.

Our skilled staff make everything from boat covers to curtains and to matching cushions and tie backs. Our Fabric Tailor will be pleased to discuss your requirements.

Q: Is it less expensive to have my marine furniture re-upholstered than just buy new?

If your furniture is of a good quality and has many years use left in it, then customers often feel it is worthwhile having it professionally re-upholstered.

Q: Do you do upholstery work for commercial premises?

Yes, we have a lot of experience working on furniture and fittings in hotels, offices, schools, and theme parks etc. Just contact our office for a quote.

Q: Do you have many upholstery fabrics to choose from?

Yes, we have a variety of commonly used or fashionable upholstery fabrics as well as best-quality marine fabrics. You would certainly benefit by calling in to our Showroom to have a warm experience with the various fabrics we offer.

Q: Can I get fabric samples?

Yes, based on your indicative or specified requirements, we are happy to arrange fabric samples pre-cut, labelled or according to what you choose in our Showroom. Alternatively, we can always obtain pertinent samples from the suppliers for you.

Q: If I bought some fabric from elsewhere, would Sing Kee still re-upholster my boat?

We have no objection to using your own fabric, however we would always suggest you let us review a sample and check its suitability before you purchase it.

Q: What about shrinkage & fading?

It is normal for washable fabrics to be subject to slight shrinkage, this can, however, depend on the type of fabric and the temperature it is washed at. Natural fading will occur over time in most fabrics.
